The World Trade Center Observatory!
The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center have been making their presence felt over many parts of NYC since 1973.

While here in the West Village, the giant monoliths seem part of a different city, they surely redefined the city's skyline.

Designed by Minoru Yamasaki, the towers make up only two of seven office buildings in the complex. A massive shopping concourse exists underground.

The 110 story towers are wrapped in stainless steel bodies lined with tall, narrow windows.

Both towers have something to offer up top. 1 WTC (the one with the antenna) is home to the elegant restaurant Windows on the World while 2 WTC contains the indoor and outdoor observation decks.

When arriving at the World Trade Center, the easiest way to enter is here at Liberty Street.

It is convenient to many subway stops, just check your map for your best route.

Entering from Church Street will bring you to this 5-acre plaza modeled after St. Mark's Square in Venice.

This PhotoTour will begin with the newly remodeled observation deck and end with some superb rooftop views!

You can get some splendid photos here... Just remember to take the lens cap off!
